another year passed and no resolution? ♥♥♥♥ rockstar. The above Quote is a great example of my frustration. I recently reinstalled the game on a new 3060 machine it worked fine up to midway through game and exactly the same issue as my previous Gaming rig. It's been working fine, I've played many other games since Thursday with no problem so it seems to just be Red dead 2. Is there a fix for this because i know its not my keyboard. This happens both in singleplayer and multiplayer. But ever since Thursday the controls now have a mind of their own. I set up my controls to be Hold down shift to sprint, tapping to jog and thats the same settings for the horse. There were no problems after i configured them. Originally posted by dorffy:On release day, the controls for red dead 2 on pc worked fine. When i get on my horse and the only button ill press is 'E' my horse will either go full sprint even though i never touched shift or will never go forward when i press 'W' but will turn left or right when i press 'A' and 'D'īut when i plug in my xbox controller, everything works fine except crouching is still random and my horse still wont go forward. Sometimes I randomly start crouching and when i press 'ctrl' nothing happens. If i just tap 'SHIFT' i will sprint even if i'm not touching 'W' and if i keep tapping 'shirt' so i can jog that doesnt do anything. When i press 'W' theres like a 50/50 chance i will actually walk forward, sometimes when i just tap 'A' or 'D' i will continuously run either left or right. Quotes John Marston 'Have a good day, sir. Alternatively, the player can taunt other NPCs if their honor is below neutral. I read somewhere that you can, but it didn't mention how. If Marston has honor past neutral and the player presses the O/B button while facing a friendly NPC, Marston will tip his hat towards the NPC followed by a spoken greeting.
